The great thing about electrolysis is that it is permanent! Young adolescents are a great candidate for it, the reason being, they have never done anything to the hair so the whole process will be easier and faster.

As teenagers go through physical changes their insecurities may become more challenging for them to deal with. It may lead to a negative impact on their body image and self-esteem. Most young people have a difficult time talking about these embarrassing concerns they may have.

Electrolysis is safe with state of the art technology, it is more comfortable than ever. Today, comfort level is addressed with an optional topical anesthetic.

It is cost efficient especially when we discuss the benefits in the long run, so ask your Electrologist. Most importantly the motivation behind the treatment for a young adult should come from within and not an added pressure, by someone other then themselves.

Young females, as old as 12 years can seek treatment a year after puberty begun, when these changes are beginning to occur, therefore treatment may be the most effective. Puberty initiates the onset of more body hair for both males and females.

Unwanted hair can be traumatic and embarrassing. It may be genetic, hormonal, and or due to medication(s). Electrolysis is a great permanent solution to unwanted hair that would yield confidence. A great investment saved in adult-hood.
