This is the Lavender season from Provence France through New York State.

Yesterday was a great joy to harvest my *lavendin—mediterranean sky, bright and sunny morning with a hint of crisp in the air—yet you can tell it will be a beautiful summer day.

Lavender and lavendin are synonym to freshness and warm sunny day. Their essences are recognized and very much appreciated for there powerful values antiseptic, healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-migraine, anti-rheumatism, and in perfumery.

Some of the virtues.
In diffuser;  quiet the nerves and relieve headache
In the bath:  relaxant light antiseptic help healing scratches—5 to 10 drops prior to get in the bath
In inhalation;  5 to 8 drops in the preparation—combat acne, sinus, facial
In insomnia;  small pillow of lavender will calm and induce to sleep
In sunburn;  few drops in mineral water use in atomizer, will refresh and cool the skin
In headache;  pad one drop of essential oil on each temple
Insect sting; one drop of essential oil to soothe

*hybrid of lavender from lower altitude, same properties in lower strength.
