Lavender virtues

This is the Lavender season from Provence France through New York State.

Yesterday was a great joy to harvest my *lavendin—mediterranean sky, bright and sunny morning with a hint of crisp in the air—yet you can tell it will be a beautiful summer day.

Lavender and lavendin are synonym to freshness and warm sunny day. Their essences are recognized and very much appreciated for there powerful values antiseptic, healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-migraine, anti-rheumatism, and in perfumery.

Some of the virtues.
In diffuser;  quiet the nerves and relieve headache
In the bath:  relaxant light antiseptic help healing scratches—5 to 10 drops prior to get in the bath
In inhalation;  5 to 8 drops in the preparation—combat acne, sinus, facial
In insomnia;  small pillow of lavender will calm and induce to sleep
In sunburn;  few drops in mineral water use in atomizer, will refresh and cool the skin
In headache;  pad one drop of essential oil on each temple
Insect sting; one drop of essential oil to soothe

*hybrid of lavender from lower altitude, same properties in lower strength.

Aromatherapy–The art of Essentials Oils

The potential of essentials oils are Nature’s most powerful substances. The essences of aromatique plants are complex, concentrate and very powerful liquids—and so, undeniably effective.
